  • What Makes Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy So Effective?
Through hypnosis we have access to the subconscious mind which is the seat of the imagination, emotions, memory, habits and intuition. The subconscious mind is the key to achieving meaningful personal transformation. The only way to reach and change major set beliefs and emotional responses of the subconscious mind is during experiences that are hypnotic. It is the part of the mind that dreams and is the pathway to the superconscious. It is the very core or essence of how we experience ourselves and the world.
  • What kinds of problems respond well to hypnosis?
Stress/anxiety management, strengthening self-confidence/self esteem, overcoming fears/phobias, trauma release, pain management, weight management, overcoming procrastination/increase motivation, smoking cessation, test taking, sports performance. • Can I do hypnosis while doing psychotherapy?
Yes. Hypnotherapy works as an adjunct form of therapy, meaning it can used alongside other forms of psychological or medical treatment, such as traditional modes of talk therapy.
  • How do I know if Hypnotherapy is for me?
If you have a “little willingness” and a “little motivation” to make positive changes in any area of your life then good work can always be done with hypnotherapy no matter how challenging the issues. The only way to know is to try it out, therefore, I offer a free 30 minute consultation and together, we will determine what issues, concerns, thoughts, behaviors and beliefs you want to change and if hypnotherapy is for you. • What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is more than just talking or observing; it is a personal choice to enter a state of consciousness for a goal beyond pure relaxation. It is an intent to concentrate and use poweful hypnotic suggestion to promote healing. It is about diving deep into the subconscious mind and quieting the rational thinking mind to change belief systems and emotional responses that are keeping one from experiencing the core states of peace, love, joy and wholeness. These core states often bring out the best in each one of us. Who can’t stand to experience more laughter, smiles, deeper breathing, greater abundance in life? Hypnotherapy can be done in person or on-line with a trained hypnotherapist.
  • What’s hypnosis?
Hypnosis is an altered and focused state of mind beyond ordinary consciousness but a natural state that can occur spontaneously. When you are in trance you are in an altered state of consciousness marked by a decreased scope and increased intensity of awareness. Hypnosis is a completely natural state, easy to achieve and it is very relaxing, peaceful, tranquil and enjoyable.
  • Can anyone access their subconscious mind?
Yes, absolutely! We all have access to our subconscious mind and therefore we can all hypnotize ourselves. We’ve all experienced hypnosis/trance states in everyday life – whether daydreaming, watching a movie, listening to music, reading a book, driving home on autopilot, meditating and praying.
  • Can you make me say or act in anyway that’s inappropriate while under hypnosis?
No, you cannot be made to do or say anything in hypnosis that conflicts with your personal desires or ethical standards. The same goes for revealing secrets or private information that you would not want to share. Your mind will only reveal what your conscious is willing to release. During a hypnosis session you are an active participant of the process and under control of your emotions, feelings and can deliberately bring yourself out of hypnosis at any point in your session.
  • What if I have multiple issues/problems?
Many of my clients have experienced the domino effect of hypnosis. When one major issue is healed often other issues heal on their own. With that being said, I offer customized sessions and I use my training and experience to help my clients get powerful, lasting, fairly rapid results and personal transformation with other stubborn issues and problems that need more in-depth emotional work. To maximize the effectiveness of each session we will discuss taking a targeted, sustainable approach to discovering the goals, objectives and boundaries you are comfortable setting.
  • How many hypnotherapy sessions will I need before I see positive results?
I will help you achieve results in the fewest sessions possible but there are several factors that highly influence how quickly a client sees positive results; your expectations, your willingness, the desire and commitment you bring to your appointments, the rapport between you and I. Some of my client’s have seen wonderful, positive emotional shifts and results in one or two sessions, however, most of my clients schedule a minimum of 3-4 sessions. The free 30-minute consult provides an opportunity to get to know each other and discuss your issues, concerns and goals.
